CPSC 5156 - Parallel and Distributed Computing
Prerequisite: CPSC 3125 with a grade of C or better.
Survey of parallel computer architectures, including interconnection networks and synchronization techniques. Algorithms and programming languages for parallel computers. Applications. Interprocess communications, communication protocols, communication network architectures, and distributed programming interfaces. Performance implications.
